  • Oversized/Overweight Items: Luggage exceeding the weight limit may incur additional surcharges. Please inform us at the time of booking if you are traveling with oversized or heavy items so the driver can plan accordingly to ensure space is available.
  • Carry-On Luggage: Each passenger may bring one small carry-on item, such as a handbag or daypack. Please ensure any necessary medications are packed in your carry-on.
  • Prohibited Items: For safety reasons, firearms, ammunition, and flammable or hazardous materials are not permitted onboard. If you must travel with any such items, notify us in advance.
  • Liability: Mountain Park Transportation and its drivers are not liable for lost or damaged luggage or personal belongings.
  • Luggage Identification: Ensure all bags are clearly labeled with luggage identification tags.

Travel Insurance and Park Pass Information

  • Insurance Recommendation: We strongly recommend purchasing medical insurance (if applicable) and trip interruption insurance. These can help cover travel and trip costs in case of cancellation due to personal illness, injury, family emergencies, or other unforeseen conflicts.
  • Park Pass Requirement: If you plan to climb or visit areas within Canadian National Parks, a park pass is mandatory. This pass also includes coverage for mountain rescue if needed.
  • Where to Purchase: All visitors to Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Yoho National Parks must have a park pass. Passes can be purchased online or at visitor information centers located in Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, and Field, BC.
